The time of the story is different from its narration time from some aspects: Time of narrating the story doesn’t continue like the real time and it's possible that the narrator makes changes in the narration time and whenever the narration required, some events may be told in prior and the other may be told later.

Or some events have described in details but some others have told briefly.

So we can compare the narration time with the real time and consequently analyze and study the quality of events narration like sequence, detail, conciseness, omission and their simultaneity.

In this paper, we are going to study the time structure of narrating the events in one of the stories of Ebn-e-Batouta’s travelogue named "the story of king Ghias -o- din Balaban" attitude with an analytical - descriptive method.

In this story Ebn-e-Batouta with an attractive and impressive style, tells the story of a petty and ugly slave that come to power bin India.

Finally, we concluded that Ebn-e-Batouta has used most of time structure's subjects.

And, the method that he has used in this story and the way he has planned in time structure of narrating this story, has increased its impressiveness and attraction
