The aim of this research is to confirm the role played by the United Nations represented in The main component of preserving international peace and security represented by the security council , in the field of protecting Muslim minorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina due to grave breaded of the four conventions and their tow additional protocols from human massacres against children , the elderly and women , in addition to committing various types of crimes , crimes against humanity ,ethnic and religious , cleansing abuse and oppression of bodies , and rap of women and children from here the security council saw the duty to interfere for imposing the peace and protecting the Muslim minority in Yugoslavia.

As the security councils have a key objective of resolving the conflict in various ways, the Council has worked to establish an international criminal court to try persons who have committed gross violations of international humanitarian law There is impunity for the killing, displacement and rape of Muslim minorities in the Yugoslav region.
