Abstract EN

With the increasing activities of the industrial plants, the environment has severely been damaged.

As a result, the Algerian legislator has issued a set of legislations stressing out the necessity for considering the environmental standards by the industrial companies.

In this context comes this study to show the most important mechanisms adopted by the Algerian legislator to integrate the environmental consideration into the industrial activities of the companies to protect the environment and which, in case of non-compliance, the industrial companies would be subjected to a set of penalties in function of their nature.

The importance of this mechanism in protecting the environment the integration of the environmental dimension within the economic plans in Algeria It's very slow; andIt is also far from keeping pace with developments in this area.
