Abstract EN

In this study, we have discussed the relationship between the strategies for verbal understanding and semantic memory of a child with autism and their nature, using a descriptive approach.

As for collecting information, we resorted to applying two measures.

The first is the O52 test for oral understanding strategies of Abdel Hamid Khumsi and the second is the semantic memory test for the researcher Saad Abdel Aziz, And the study hypotheses were verified by using a number of statistical methods linked to statistical package for social sciences (SPSS), by applying the simple Pearson correlation coefficient.

The results of this study have a statistically significant correlation correlation between strategies for verbal understanding and semantic memory in an autistic child
