Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight and analyze the situation of damage insurance market in Algeria during the period 2015-2020, through describing and analyzing data related to market shares according to the type of the company as well as according to the categories of damage insurance, in addition to analyzing market development through highlighting market growth rates during the study period.

The study found that damage insurance market in Algeria recorded positive growth rates, but somewhat weak during the years 2016-2019, then a decrease in the total market share during the year 2020, as the Corona pandemic may be one of the direct causes of this decline.
