Abstract EN

Bint Al-Huda is one of the contemporary Iraqi writers who has devoted his books to religious and social affairs and his stories are overflowing with the points that can be criticized from social perspective.

In this article, we discuss about the social events in Fi Al-Moustashfy story, which include: The issue of Hijab, old maid (spinster), forced marriage, violence against women and the women’s westernization.

So that we want to review them from cultural and sociological perspectives in order to draw a comprehensive illustration of Bint Al-Huda's collection of stories.

Bint Al-Huda has defended women's rights, especially adolescent girls’ marriage in his books, and has tried to show the image of a Muslim girl who adheres to the ethics of Islam.

This research has been formed in the framework of Islamic and ethical values, in which Islam has justified women the right to choosing in marriage; not only it dosen’t cause to women freedom negation according to Islamic principles and the rules that Islam has assumed about women's dress and ornament and contrary to the Islam enemies claims, but also prevents the corruption that comes from unveiling.

This article research methodology is descriptive-analytical, so we write some clauses of the story and then will analyze them.
