Abstract EN

This research paper attempts to approach an Arab heritage text, of Al-Jahiz, in particular, the chapter of Silence in his book «eloquence and demonstration» according to the Wittgenstein language games, by referring to a set of conversational strategies (solidarity, guiding, hinting, and persuasive strategy) basing in its analysis on two most important topics in Pragmatics: intentionality and context.
