The study aimed to identify the role of school leadership in improving the quality of teaching and learning processes in basic education schools for grades (5-9) in the North Al Batinah Governorate, using the descriptive approach, and it sought to uncover the differences in the responses of the study sample individuals to the role of school leadership in improving The quality of teaching and learning processes in basic education schools for grades (5-9) in North Al Batinah Governorate, according to the variables (gender, job title, and years of experience).

In light of this, an intentional sample was chosen from the principals and assistant principal of basic education schools in the North Al-Batinah governorate, their number (119) distributed between (87) school principals and (32) assistant directors, where the researcher designed the questionnaire after consulting the theoretical literature and previous studies related to improving the quality of operations Teaching and learning in school, and the study resulted in the following results: The role of school leadership in improving the quality of teaching and learning processes in basic education schools for grades (5-9) in North Al Batinah Governorate came with a very high grade.

As the study showed, there are no statistically significant differences for the gender variable (male / female) about The role of school leadership in improving the quality of teaching and learning processes in basic education schools for grades (5-9) in Al Batinah North Governorate in all study axes, except for the first axis: the future vision of the process Teaching and learning, for the benefit of females.

Likewise, there are no statistically significant differences due to job title and years of experience in all study axes, except for the first axis: the future vision of the teaching and learning process, which came in favor of an assistant director.

There are no statistically significant differences in the study sample estimates about the role of school leadership in improving the quality of teaching and learning processes in educational schools.

Basic education for grades (5-9) in North Al Batinah Governorate, attributed to years of experience in all study axes.

The researcher recommended supporting school leaderships for senior leaders in the Ministry of Education and spreading the culture of change and development in the work environment in order to achieve the goals of the school performance development system.
