The study aimed to evaluate the role of public relations in achieving the goals of sports institutions by identifying Objectives of the Public Relations Department in Sports Institutions The role of public relations towards sports institutions, members and the public Obstacles facing public relations in sports institutions.
The two researchers used the descriptive survey method.
The two researchers selected the basic research sample by the intentional method and they numbered (230) individuals, by (50) managers and public relations specialists in sports institutions (clubs and sports federations) and (180) from the beneficiaries of the internal and external public of the sports institutions.
A questionnaire form to collect information and data, and appropriate statistical treatments were applied to it From presenting and discussing the results, the study concluded One of the most important public relations obstacles is the inaccuracy of data, which often leads to confusion in performance, the failure to take into account the results of research and studies that measure public opinion trends, the lack of funding for the Public Relations Department, and the weakness of public opinion studies of members and the public of sports institutions by the Public Relations Department.
