Abstract EN

The present study aimed to explore the viewpoint of a sample of Kuwaiti people , whether citizens or residents , regarding the human and social role of policemen in Kuwait This study was a descriptive and analytical study , as the study aimed to provide a qualitative and quantitative description of the human and social role of the policeman.

The social survey method was used as one of the most appropriate methods for the descriptive and analytical studies, and as an appropriate approach to achieve the aims of the study.

The research population in this study was the public in Kuwait, a non-random sample was taken , its size was 308 (whether they are citizens or residents).

The study data were collected from all the governorates of the State of Kuwait, namely: Farwaniya, Hawalli, Jahra, Al-Asimah, Al-Ahmadi, Mubarak Al-Kabeer, by an electronic questionnaire through the social media means.Among the most important results of the study were the answer to all the study questions and testing of all the study hypotheses.

At the end of the study, a set of recommendations were drawn up that could contribute to strengthening and enhancing the human and social role of policemen in general, and in Kuwait in particular.
