Abstract EN

The current research dealt with the social problems of the captured children released from Israeli prisons, related to family communication, family security, and social support for the children released from Israeli prisons.

The study relied on the social survey method by means of a comprehensive inventory of all liberated children in Qalqilya governorate who meet the conditions for sele The results of the study concluded that there is a weakness in the social support for the liberated children from Israeli prisons, due to the nature of the Palestinian society institutions, most of which work within programs funded by the European Union, and that there is a weakness in the family security of the liberated children, increasing social withdrawal and isolation.

At the end of the research, many recommendations were made, most notably the need to conduct more studies and scientific research on the problems facing the liberated children from Israeli prisons, with the need to intensify the work of social workers with the liberated children and their families to help them face any problems that might come their way after liberation.
