The subject of our study (Mardin study in general conditions from (570 to 658 AH / 1174-1259), is of great importance, and it is no secret that the study of cities and the developments in their political, economic and social aspects, very carefully in historical studies, and it is known that the cities were not Which existed before Islam, including what emerged after the Islamic conquests, as new cities were established and Mardin was one of the cities that appeared before Islam in the province of the island of Euphrates.

Mardin is considered one of the richest cities that contributed to the establishment of the borders of the Arab Islamic State and repelled the attacks of the forces that were attached to it.

It has a clear impact on spreading Islam and establishing the Arab-Islamic presence in those areas far from the capital of the Arab Islamic State.
