Abstract EN

The research aimed to identify the perceived control of university students and the differences of statistical significance according to sex and academic field.

To achieve these aims, the researchers adopted the measurement prepared by Rothbaum and et al (1982).

After verifying the validity and reliability of the scale, it was applied to a sample of (600) male and female students from the faculties of the University of Babylon.

after the statistical processing of the data shows that the university students enjoy perceved control and there are differences according to the gender variable in favor of males and there are no differences according to academic field.
