Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between professional competence and each of the 16 personal factors of Cattell and the spiritual intelligence of Psychological counselors, to determine the predictability of the professional competence of these variables.

The study sample consisted of (40) of psychological counselors, and used the descriptive method (correlation and comparative) to test the hypotheses of study.

The tools of the study were: the scale of professional competence, the measure of spiritual intelligence, and the scale of the personality.The results of the study are summarized in the existence of a relationship between the professional competence of the psychological counselor and some personal factors of Cattell such as , the Third Factor(c): (Emotional Stability vs.

Reactive), Four Factor(E): (Dominance (Assertive) versus Humble) Twelve Factor (O): Apprehensive versus Self-assured (Lack of Safety / Insecurity) - Fifteen Factor (Q3):(Controlled vs.

Undisciplined) and found a correlation between the professional competence of the psychological counselor and spiritual intelligence and its dimensions.

The research concluded that the psychological competence of the psychologist can be predicted from the spiritual intelligence and the Third Factor,(c):(Emotional Stability vs.

Reactive), Twelve Factor,(O): Apprehensive versus Self- assured (Lack of Safety / Insecurity) and Fifteen Factor, Q3: (Controlled vs.

Undisciplined).
