Patriarcal culture has contributed to produce classified values through mobilization of a number of mecanisms in important institutions such as the family which played an important role of reproducing the idea of male superiority on female.

Each institution created limits and distances between the two sexes trough the treatment of the different characteristics that constitute mascalinity and feminity.

Social representations of Mascara and Oran University students lay on different sources like habits, tales, rituals, popular sayiugs all drawn from patriarcal culture.

Through their speeches, it appears clearly that patriarcal culture's influence is a constraining power on youth
