This research paper aims to highlight the contribution of the agricultural sector in achieving food security and to diagnose the most important problems and obstacles that prevent the advancement of the agricultural sector, which is one of the pillars on which the new diversified economy is built and the main means to achieve and ensure food security, which is a concern for most governments and countries, By analyzing the data and data of the agricultural sector and the food security indicators, we found deficiencies, lack of vision and strategy on the programs and plans implemented, the prevalence of bureaucracy and poor regulation, as shown by the standard study on factors affecting food security and its impact on GDP, and we estimated a model of the phenomenon.
