Abstract EN

The study aimed to highlight the role of democratic leadership principles in reducing the forms of resistance to change among university professors at the University of Ghardaia, and the descriptive analytical method was used and a questionnaire was designed, which was analyzed by the spss program.

The results of the study showed that there is no statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (0.

05≥α) between the three principles of democratic leadership: human relations, participation, delegation and the reduction of the forms of resistance of professors to change at the University of Ghardaia.

There are no statistically significant differences in the opinions of the respondents regarding the forms of Resistance to change depending on the variable of age and years of service Whereas, differences were recorded according to the variable of sex and the occupational level.
