Quel sens et place du concept de l'économie solidaire en Algérie ?

The States, newly integrated and inserted in the international economic sphere found themselves in a delicate position to know how to initiate an economic process of economic growth without losing social and civic stability in view, in order to ensure at best a synergy between the purely economic aspect (economic growth rate, fall in inflation, employment, public finances and others) and the purely social aspect (health, education, housing, employment, elimination of precariousness, poverty, undernourishment).

Theoretically, this can materialize, but States will have to find the mechanisms and methods to ensure such coordination, because sacrifices are to be expected, either on the side of economic decision-makers or of citizens, on the basis that economic science has always tried to study the relationship between the needs expressed by the population and the means and availability that really exist, to avoid possible cleavages and distortions between the two parties, an analysis which has too often led to obstacles set up by the authorities in charge of the economic and social file.

We will try, for our part, to define the role of this concept in the Algerian case, marked by a forced and obligatory economic transition, and to see the realities on the ground through a charitable organization, in this case the Algerian red crescent, to determine the value of the concept at this level and above all properly measure the role of the State, in an economic context crossed by certain situations which affect local households, in terms of precariousness, medical and educational insufficiency, social exclusion, social fragility , vulnerability and undernourishment, not to say famine and poverty, particularly during a fall in international reserves, the main provider of funding for social projects.
