Abstract EN

This research Seeks to focus on the importance of diversification as a main pillar for achieving developmental sustainability and as a strategic choice for countries, especially who depend on a single resource in their economy,such as the economies of rentier states, that rely export oil, which exposed its revenues for fluctuations in the global markets, and therefore can not be relied upon in advancing sustainable development process.

This research concludes that a profound weakness in economic diversification in Algeria, as it is the result of the continuous dependence on oil revenues, therefore must followers economic policy aims to redirect the economy and improve the efficiency of the effectiveness of the various economic sectors for the purpose of diversifying sources of income.
