Abstract EN

The present study discusses the representations of Algerian and Tunisian youth about memory, social change, and discourse as part of the major transformations witnessed by the Arab world for the period after the Arab spring revolutions.

it aimed primarily political and social change and the peaceful transfer of authority by establishing democratic governance.

based on the comparative approach between the Algerian and Tunisian contexts, which we conducted through the field investigation, we relied on field and collective interviews with academics professors as well as students.

we discovered frustration, despair and even aversion to the reality of marginalization and extreme youth, toward political and social participation, while it also devoted two different realities: a failure for Tunisia and an exception for Algeria.
