Abstract EN

The authority of the reference group of the Salafis makes them presuppose excessively with its values due to their strong desire th rearrange the local values which lead them to onset the conflict the differentiation with the family on one side, and with the society in general on the other side.

in this context, the young Salafis commence to compensate the local values with the ones made by the refrencial group as well as having a kind of readiness to live within or under its symbolic authorization that is constructed to reject all what is categorized yo be local by judging those social traditions and norms as falsifications in all the levels, so they need to be replaced by theirs as they believe.

in addition, these beliefs makes this group more enclosed and introverted.

as a result, they are considered as "different" and " conflicted" with their own societies, and basically, this is what we aim to tackle in this study.
