In this article we are going to shed light on the merits of a lawsuit filed against the bishop Antonius, who took over the episcopal duties in the village of Fussala between (411-416 A.D), he was a young man who lived his childhood in the city of Hippone and was strongly supported by the church in Hippone and the bishop Augustine who encouraged him to work as an episcopal despite to his young age, lack of less experiences and lack of hierarchy of church responsabilities, he took over religious and administrative supervision of the village of Fussala and was assigned financial and tax duties in his village, where he was treated with the utmost cruelty and bullying of members of the community (peasants, slaves, … etc) with the help of an armed religious military units.

the works and actions of command leaded by the bishop Antoninos was so uncontrolled in the village of Fossala that what had led to a growing public rejection of his tax policy, which has confiscated many farmers and made him extremely rich by embezzling funds destined for his church and his administration, and in view of these serious events and clashes.

repeated with the farmers and for the length of his episcopal term in the village formed a counter military forces in the rural area of farmers and aristocrats filed a complaint against him to bishop Augustine, who in turn referred his case to the episcopal court, which separated him from episcopal work and these legal proceedings issued by the religious court its results were reflected locally and regionally through the intervention of the higher ecclesiastical authorities in Rome and the answers of bishop Augustine on the merits of the trial and the most important works of bishop Antoninus during his episcopal time and how his case was contained and his judicial file closed finaly.
