Abstract EN

The Eastern region of Andalusia especially Valencia, was famous for irrigated-agriculture that relies on irrigation.

this has forced the people of the region to strive for access to hydraulic techniques that will lead to the establishment of agricultural activity with abundant production.

this is what has already been achieved in the region until some of its cities were known for their titles indicating fertility and development, such as al Andalus (the city of dust), orchard of Andalusia-(Valencia), and the fertile planting of the paper and others.

however, the distribution of water for irrigation of crops was the reason for a discord between farmers.

the frequent occurrence of it led to the creation of legal measures and legislation to manage watering, and embodied in a judicial body known as the "water court", which is an institution that monitor and implement the laws of irrigation management between the owners and farmers, as well as resolving water disputes over quotas and irrigation roles thus, it was a "model of legislation on legal and administrative management of irrigation."
