Abstract EN

This study aimed to highlight the Maqasid understanding of the prophetic Sunnah among the noble Companions, With the necessity of noting that it is ancient in origins, as its beginnings were in the era of the Prophet, as he trained them in ijtihad.

Therefore, they consider the best understanding of the Prophet's Sunnah, and the best one who is able to correctly estimate interests and harms.

They used the maqasid in Islamic legislation, and this is evident in what they left of models that it is desirable to emulate, as they constitute the basic reference and guiding compass for the correct approach and the disciplined understanding of maqasid.
