The article aims to show the image of women in the regional people's ideal, which ranged from being more approachable to being disapproving, through studying popular examples in the Guelma area and working to extract the image of women as the mother, wife and sister on their positive side, which is the dilemma in the life of men when it comes to feelings of jealousy, hatred and other reprehensible characteristics.

the regional people's proverbs of Guelma are very important to women, and we find them very present in those proverbs, taking different forms, sometimes bright images, which are the result of a loving and admirable emotion, and sometimes dark images, which are the result of hatred and hatred.
