This study aims to identify the role of the psychological counselor in activating the participation of parents in alleviating the symptoms of autism in their children by clarifying the characteristics of autism and trying to know the role of the psychological counselor in providing support to the parents of the autistic child and encouraging them to participate in the treatment plan for their son and training them on how to deal with and consider their child As one of the members of the work team that cannot be dispensed with due to the role of parents in stabilizing the skills acquired by the child, with clarification of the justifications for parental participation in the individual program.

This study also seeks to present a set of strategies that were used to guide the parents of an autistic child and helped achieve the child's adaptation to the family environment
