Abstract EN

The Arab countries, especially the oil exporters, adopt an economic policy based on the revenues of petroleum levy.

Their economic indicators were linked to the fluctuations of international oil prices, so these economies were not affected by the oil crises.

Most countries tried to disengage, including Algeria, whose economy is 97 percent rentier, and had to look for other alternatives to finance its development programs.

Through this paper, we have attempted to track the correlation of the price of oil POIL and the variables of the GDP, PIB and G expenditure, which reflect the fiscal policy applied during the period 1970-2017.

And to know the new fiscal policy that Algeria has tried to adopt to diversify the sources of funding for its domestic development programs.
