Abstract EN

This research is an attempt to review the most important phonetic phenomena that prevailed in Tamim’s language, such as substitution ‘el Ibdel’, slurring ‘el Iddram’, phonemic default, ‘el hamz’, tilt ‘el Imala’, inverting ‘el Kalb’, and ‘ E’tanwin’, etc.

and that is done by presenting prose and poetic texts that belong to Tamim’s tribe, and trying to analyze and study them.

the researcher will focus on what the ancient and modern linguists pointed out regarding the phonetic issues of this language, they explain the most important phonological changes, and highlight the most important features that have characterized them.

this research also highlights the role of these sounds regarding the communication system, and their effect in guiding the connotation of speech, where phonological changes in linguistic sounds are subject to the rules governing their structure, and contribute effectively to clarifying their changing features in order to establish the form of phonemic harmony and the speech stream.
