M14Some universities are considered pioneers in the field of social responsibility and have made great strides in this field, and there is no doubt that the rich balance of public benefit perspectives is considered an important breakthrough that paved the way for the prosperity of the culture of social responsibility in these universities.

This research aims to try to familiarize university officials with the necessary conditions and practical solutions that must be followed to benefit from the advantages of applying the ISO 26000 specification for social responsibility, in a contribution to improving these universities in raising their social performance and consolidating the concept of social responsibility in society.

The study concluded: Both strategic planning and disclosure of social responsibility in universities' financial reports and commitment to implementing governance rules are among the necessary mechanisms and requirements that contribute to qualifying these universities to benefit from the advantages of applying the ISO 26000 specification for social responsibility.
