This study aims to identify the conceptual framework related to money laundering as a dangerous phenomenon for the economies of countries, to measure the extent of Palestinian banks 'response to the instructions of the Palestinian Monetary Authority in combating money laundering, and to demonstrate the effectiveness of combating money laundering in Palestinian banks.

The study reached several results, the most important of which is that national banks are committed to implementing the anti-money laundering instructions issued by the Palestinian Monetary Authority by allocating a specialized section whose task is to ascertain the sources of funds obtained from clients.

It leads to transparency, credibility and confidence in transactions by customers in dealing with banks.
