The geographical position of Kuwait plays a great role in the living of the people there and the development of education.

Besides the need to an education staff to lead trade and economy which was active in Kuwait because of trade, marine transportation and pearls collecting.

The beginning of education in Kuwait depended on mosques for a long time, which later became a place to teach reading and to explain the rules of Islam.

kattateb had a great role in teaching boys and girls reading and writing which created a base to find an educated generations to participate in leading the country and Society.
