Abstract EN

The study aims to test the relationship between the digital economy and economic growth in the Egyptian economy, using the least squares model, to try to test the hypothesis that the relationship is positive between the digital economy and economic growth by applying to the Egyptian economy using data for the period (2000-2019).

The results of the estimate, based on the Cobb Douglas equation of economic growth, were that the relationship is positive between private investment spending and economic growth, The relationship is positive between labor supply and economic growth, in addition to a positive relationship between the digital economy and economic growth in the Egyptian economy, This is consistent with the internal growth model of economic growth, which is based on the assumption that knowledge is the main engine of economic growth.
