Abstract EN

Ethical values are a fundamental pillar of the social values of every human society and are the determinants of public and private behavior at the level of the individual and society, and these values represent varying proportions in the behavior of societies based on the environment, history and the pressing developments in the perpetuation or extinction of those values.

Through statistics and inventories in the Arabic poetry proverbs, especially the poetry is the tongue of the state of the Arabs and their Diwan, the poetry has expressed a precise expression of what those established moral values in the Arab society are flourishing and growing over different ranges of time .

Because the Arab nation has a profound history of human existence, it has left us with a moral legacy based on the steady of laudable moral values or virtuous qualities and a rejection of the blameworthy qualities or bad, rejected characters by humanity as a whole, and these values are popularized in praise, satire and pride in their poetic purposes and accompanying with stories and tales that have conveyed to us a true picture of the life of the Arab society.

Perhaps Mu'allaqat of Amr ibn Kulthum Al Taqlubi, a living witness to the system of moral values represented by Arab poetry, contained of generosity, courage, boldness, self-esteem, patience, endurance, despair, tolerance, sacrifice, etc., and the cause of the poets go deep in of all times and ages, even contemporary poetry accompanied and transported these values are influential and believing in them with different life and evolution.
