Abstract EN

This research aims to study the discourses of fatherhood and filiation in the poetry of al-Mu'tamid bin Abbad from a deliberative point of view, and the study focuses - here - on the theory of verbal verbs developed by the British philosopher John Austin, and his American student Sorell established for it in their discussion of the actions that produce an achievement and influence the recipient.

And then the research is concerned with studying each of: the informants, which are: those acts that are concerned with the honest transmission of reality, as their achievement ability lies in inducing the recipient to accept the speech through his feeling of the originator's sincerity, and the directives, which are: Actions that express the addressee's request of the recipient to perform By an action, and its accomplishment is determined in directing towards the action and obligations, which are: those actions in which the offeree commits to the recipient to perform an action, where their accomplishment purpose is to commit to the realization of the spoken action specifically, and expressions, which are: those actions that express feelings and inner components, Its achievement purpose is to express a psychological position that the poet has, as well as advertisements, which express a change in the position of what the poet intends to show.

The study chose two poems as a sample, the first of which is the speech of parenthood.

Where the poet (Al-Mu'tamid bin Abbad) addresses his son, Prince Al-Radi, while the second poem expresses the speech of filiation; Where the poet directs his speech to his father Mu'tadid God.

The study relied on deliberative method data in its study of these verbal actions.
