The research aims to explain and study the foundations of positive logic, the meaning of the name and its significance, and why was he called this name? Why did he reject Aristotelian logic? What are the foundations and elements on which this logic is based? One of the results of the research is to solve these problems, through analysis, comparison and historical status, so that it becomes the modern tool for the advancement of science, an alternative to the ancient tool, "Aristotel's organon".

For this purpose, the research included the following: First: positional logic and its sources As the name and significance include old sources and modern sources Second: The renewal in logic by Zaki Naguib Mahmoud, which includes the following: The choice of the name and its significance logic: content, renewal and its impact, what is new? Third: The role and importance of criticism regarding Aristotelian logic by Zaki Nageeb Mahmoud, and includes the importance of criticism and then examples of his criticism of Aristotelian logic.

The results of research: The most important of which is that he combines both experimental and deductive currents together, and he did not reject all metaphysics but excluded metaphysics of science, then announced after religious objection to him accepting religious and moral metaphysics, and then he picked out ideas that supported what he intended and then he concerned Aristotle's inferential criticism and did not refer to Aristotle's experimental, Then he presented everything that has been developed in modern logic up to his time, as well as he used the criticism of most critics such as Russell and Govens, then approved the philosophical logic, and this is what he applied to positional logic.
