The current study aimed to reveal the reality of strategic planning practices in small and medium enterprises in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, by identifying (tools and methods of the used strategic planning, the parties involved in formulating strategic plans, the period of time for the strategic plan, attitude towards strategic planning, and the obstacles that stands in the way of implementing strategic plans).
