Abstract EN

This study aims to determine the differences in social intelligence in a sample of gifted students and regular and its relationship with the variables sex and school level.

Study sample included 172 students from middle and high school boys and girls (14 %) of the study Khobar (Saudi Arabia) during the semester 1434 Was Selected Way Facilitator, (48) students from gifted students in middle school and secondary schools; (124) students from ordinary students in middle school and high school.

The researcher scale social intelligence building consists of (44) items spread over four dimensions represent the concept of social intelligence, and Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient (0.81).

Was calculated data analysis means and standard deviations and test T, the results of the study and there are differences between the gifted and ordinary in all standard dimensions for gifted students, and there are no differences between the gifted and ordinary on the basis of sex variable, and there are differences between the gifted and unusual on the basis of the level of school at the secondary level.

Showing the most important recommendations a variety of programs for the development of social intelligence of the students at all stages of education and an integrated curriculum be, and review the methods used in the detection of talented and expand rather than restrict them in intelligence logical and linguistic, and preparation of training courses for teachers to develop social skills.
