Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the nature of the Arab consumer’s preventive behavior towards f commercial fraud.

It identifies the consumer’s preferences of the nature of goods and the preventive measures that the consumer takes while buying a commodity.

It also explores whether the Arab consumer’s behavior contributes towards protecting them from commercial fraud or it contributes towards them being victims of commercial fraud.

The study uses a descriptive approach.

The study community was consumers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which ranks fifteenth in the world in terms of the purchasing power, according to the World Bank’s 2017 estimates.

The study uses quantitative and qualitative tools to collect information.

These tools are an electronic questionnaire used to collect information through an available sample of shoppers from major busy commercial centers, in Eastern, Western, and Central Riyadh, the capital, with a volume of 180 respondents.
