Abstract EN

This paper tries to underline how can we consider Corona pandemic as being a pivotal event on the international order; and how can the Chinese management of the crisis be a preliminary indicator of possible displacements of the order from the West to the East.

Mainly, when many quantitative indicators show the raise of Chinese-Asian pole versus the fading American-western pole.

It is hard to judge the impact of the epidemic crisis on the future of the international order, for the uncertainty of coronavirus’s future, besides the difficulty in quantifying its harmful effects on those powers.

Additionally, today international order structure, the internal and external challenges facing China nowadays will hinder the building of an Asian pole that substitutes the Western one.
