The International Organizations, ranging from global to regional, public to private and governmental to non-governmental Organizations, have given real value to the environment and incorporated it into their objectives and principles, because the environment is a human right and it is considered to be among the third generation of human rights.

These Organizations play an important role in protecting the environment from pollution through their own competence, or in terms of their own legal regime, in particular through their conclusion of global and regional conventions and the issuance of decisions and recommendations, the latter of which, constitute a clearly debate about the extent of their commitment, but especially in the marine environment field, it have contributed to the development of norms and to the building of legal bases for their protection.
