Abstract EN

This Study aims at identifying the role of Islamic Instruments in achieving development through attracting the resources from different sources and directs them towards development projects.

The study attempts to answer the question How do Islamic instruments contribute to support development plans and provide money to meet the deficit of budget through instruments’ circulation made and represented by Sudan Company for Financial Services during the study period (2010- 5 The researcher used the descriptive and analytical approach to fufill the subject matter of the study.

The study is composed of four chapters in which chapter one discussed the concept of instruments, its types and characteristics.

Chapter two focused on duties of Sharia Supervisory Corporation in Financial Instituions and Technical Control on insturments.

Chapter three discussed Arabic and Westren countries experiences with respect to issueance of instruments.

However, Chapter four highlighted an analytical study on issuing instruments and resources explitation in Sudan by Sudan Company for Financial Services.

The study concluded with some results, most important of which, the issuance of instruments were centered in the banks and lack of contribution by individuals.

Most of the uses have been concemtrated in the basic services, while medium and small projects were not given ample resources.

The study has showed lack of understanding of the legal aspects with respect to instruments dealers.

The study concluded with some recommendations, most important of which neceeaty of awarenss on the legal aspect of insturments and benefit from Arabic countries experience with respect to jurist and technical aspects and making every efforts to attract individual savings to be used in Islamic Instruments and necessaty of employing Islamic Instruments to have a direct investment in small and medium-sized productive projects, and nunifying the legal and jurist framework in dealing with instrument
