Enter This work is concerned with studying the modern sustainable development goals for the horizons of 2030 and focusing in particular on the first goal related to poverty reduction, as achieving sustainable development requires the development of an integrated strategy to improve the living, economic, social and health conditions of the citizen and preserve the environment, as it takes into account historical conditions and present in the region and predict future changes and global developments.

This work aims to highlight the extent of the contribution of development policies in Algeria to reducing poverty, and we chose the descriptive analytical approach that we saw appropriate, as the study concluded that there are good mechanisms adopted by Algeria to reduce poverty, but the problem remains in directing the mechanisms to the actual beneficiaries.
