Abstract EN

This study tackles the induction of the emotional trajectory of the self in the narrative discourse of the novel of The Blue Elephant from the perspective of semiotics of passions.

It attempts to bring together the self-tension scheme and its interaction with its dramatic and psychological surrounding, and to inspect its emotions and emotional aptitudes through its confrontation with the hierarchical pattern of actions, sayings, and events within the act of narrative recitation.
