The automatic processing of the Arabic language aims to analyze the Arabic texts using artificial intelligence, and employ that in applications that helps to convert the spoken to written and vice versa, as well as automatic and instant translation, spelling and grammar, automatic formation of texts and morphological and grammatical analyzes, etc.

The Arabic language has benefited from Computing research simulation in other languages.

International universities in the United States and other countries have supervised many translation programs to, from the Arabic language, and in the analysis of Arabic texts and the digitization of Arabic calligraphy.

Thus, the automatic treatment of the Arabic language has exceeded many challenges through these operations , and still have other difficulties, some of which are related to the environment of the Arabic language research and others related to the specificity of the Arabic language, which had to be worked on in order to overcome it, to allow the Arabic language to adapt with the requirements of the computerization of languages and automatic processing, It also allows the latter to employ the solutions provided by artificial intelligence for some problems related to the use and circulation of the Arabic language, such as unifying the Arabic terms between various Arab countries, as well as the accomplishment , updating and computerization of Arabic dictionaries.
