Abstract EN

The Alimony Fund law issued in (01-15) and Family Solidarity Fund issued in (01-14), are considered to be a distinctive social project and a mechanism facing the hardships lived by divorced mothers as well as their children due to the neglection of the party reliable for payment(father) and the refusal of assuming the responsibility towards the child ren subject to custody.

This latter gives rise to delinquency and homelessness.

The Fund bears the duty of paying the financial entitlements to these women and their children.

Moreover, the Fund has clearly set the conditions to benefit from its services and the cases of discarding those who do not deserve such assistance.

In the end, it is well worth noting that both the Algerian and Moroccan Fund has excluded a large proportion from benefiting from this Fund.
