Abstract EN

The present study aims to identify the extent of the impact of the educational programs used in the establishments of abandoned children on the psychological and social adjustment of male and female children in four establishments in Sétif and Bordj Bou Arreridj, the sample of the study consisted of 72 abandoned children who were selected intentionally and using the descriptive approach.

Building a scale of psychological and social adjustment, and after a statistical treatment, the study resulted in the lack of influence of socialization programs on psychological adjustment in general, and the effect of socialization programs in a negative and statistically significant on social adjustment.
