Children with disabilities have long been prisoners of the psychiatric sector, with no prospect of education and social integration.
The latter are not in the same relation to the world and for them, undeniably, teaching/learning does not follow the usual channels.
Today, thanks to the determination of associations of families of the disabled, this population is considered to be educable, suitable for schooling and destined to live in society.
Protecting the future of these children by providing them with education in an ordinary school is a question that calls on families, psychologists and professionals.
Their integration into mainstream schools thus calling for integration and inclusion is a major issue that involves the responsibility of all.
The objective of the school inclusion of children with disabilities, whatever the type of disability, is to help these children progress in their learning to acquire the most knowledge and skills according to their own possibilities

Les enfants en situation de handicap ont longtemps été prisonniers du secteur psychiatrique, sans perspective d'éducation et d'intégration sociale.
Ces dernier ne sont pas dans la même relation au monde et pour eux, indéniablement, l'enseignement/ apprentissage n'emprunte pas les canaux habituels.
Aujourd'hui, grâce à la détermination d'associations de familles de handicapés, cette population est considérée comme éducable, scolarisable et destiné à vivre en société.
Protéger l'avenir de ces enfants en leur assurant un enseignement dans une école ordinaire est une question qui interpelle familles, psychologues et professionnels.
Leur insertion en milieu scolaire ordinaire appelant ainsi à l'intégration et l'inclusion est un enjeu majeur qui implique la responsabilité de tous.
L'objectif de l'inclusion scolaire des enfants en situation de handicap, quel que soit le type de handicap, est de faire progresser ces enfants dans leurs apprentissages pour acquérir le plus de connaissances et de compétences selon leurs propres possibilités.
