Abstract EN

The objective of the study was to provide an in-depth overview of the contribution of linguistic discourse in the construction of adolescent identity in Algeria , by collecting the sentences and the verbal style which constitute the discourse widely used among adolescents and by attempting to explain it By drawing inspiration from the psychoanalytic approach of Jacques Lacan.

We relied on the case study approach, the TAT, and the Identity Rating Scale, and it was concluded that the adolescent uses a set of sentences to infer and express anything symbolic and unconscious.
