Abstract EN

This article sheds light on a general overview of the social and cultural conditions of Damascus between the years 1650 and 1750.

consequently, it comes within the areas of our interest in both the Arab east and the Morocco, which has similar cultural, social and political ties.

therefore, we tried in this article to highlight a part of this date.

this seemed to us that it was still in need of exploration and study, especially during the specified period for this contribution.

generally speaking, this period was marked by radical developments that affected various aspects of life .moreover; we gave importance to the conditions of the community in Damascus and their method of life.

most importantly, we focused on the intellectual aspects, as well as its administrative system .for example, ayala belongs to the ottoman empire.

to conclude, this article deals with the extent that the various productions were affected on the intellectual and cultural levels.
