Abstract EN

This research represents an attempt to diagnose the factors that govern the behavior of the university student in terms of his perception of the causes of success of failure between one who is in control to of the environment or who is in control of him, and thus belief in his control center, and to show the existing differences between males and females in this field, where the Rotter’s control center scale was applied on a sample of 465 first year master students who belong to the universities of Tiaret, Relizane, Saida, and Oran .

The results were discussed in light of the study's hypotheses testing.
